With more than 65 years of family entrepreneurship behind it, the Torri family has developed deep manufacturing expertise, operating production facilities in Italy since 1977 and working with selected international supply chains.
Fier S.p.A. designs and manufactures premium photovoltaic panels in Italy. With twenty years of experience in photovoltaic module manufacturing, the company combines advanced technology, industrial expertise and Italian design.

In 2008, Torri Solare officially became a PV module manufacturer.
The main Business Units are:
Foundry. Since 1977.
Designs and manufactures die-cast aluminium components, including mechanical machining and surface finishing. The Foundry serves a wide range of industrial sectors and develops bespoke projects based on customer specifications. Made in Italy.
Photovoltaics. Since 2007.
Designs, manufactures and distributes premium photovoltaic modules and complete solar solutions, including inverters, battery storage systems and EV charging stations.
It is a story built on hard work, sacrifice and courageous decisions, guided by principles handed down through three generations. Today, that history is also where we meet the market: with our products, technologies and values.
Entrepreneurial tradition
The family’s entrepreneurial tradition dates back to 1961, when Giuseppe Torri started his business with small metal polishing machines in Quinzano d’Oglio, in the Po Valley.
1977 marked the installation of the first die-casting press and the beginning of the family’s history in the metals industry.
In the 1990s, Giulio Torri, the founder’s son, expanded the family business in the foundry sector. In 2008, with the third generation, the Group entered the photovoltaic industry through Torri Solare, a PV module manufacturer led by Michele Torri.
The Technology Hub
Since 2021, the company has reclaimed and redeveloped a 10,000 m² industrial site in Brescia, originally built in the 1970s. The site has been transformed into the Group’s Technology Hub, where production, testing and the development of new products and technologies are now concentrated. The site houses both production and the testing of new products and technologies.
- Production is powered 100% by photovoltaics.
- New technologies are tested in a dedicated outdoor PV test field of approximately 20 kWp.
- Our state-of-the-art laboratory is where we carry out destructive and performance testing in collaboration with research institutions.
- The facility is fully energy self-sufficient, powered by a 400 kW PV system and supported by a groundwater well that serves the entire plant, including its air-conditioning systems.
- A 150 kW Ipercharge charging station, open to the public for electric mobility.
R&D TEAM OFFICES
The Technology Hub is more than a production facility. It is the beating heart of an industrial project built around technology, vision and a strong product culture.

Since 2023, FABULA 3D has strengthened the Group’s R&D capabilities at the Brescia Technology Hub, bringing a dedicated 3D printing farm into the development process for prototyping, testing and new product solutions.
